Installation setup
1 - Install Windows 2000 server with SP4
   - Install the following Windows components
IIS
--Common Files
--Internet Information Service Snap-In
--WWW Server

Managerment and Monitoring Tools
--Network Monitor Tools
--SNMP

Networking Service
--DNS
--DHCP

2 install ie6sp1.exe

3 install msjavx86.exe

4 create following registry
   - [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems\Model]
        "Hardware"="MCS7835"
        "Memory"="512"
        "Speed"="2600"
- [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spirian\System Info\OS Image]
     "Version"="2000.2.5"

5 install win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-2-7.exe (2 phases)

6 install win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-4-2.exe (3 phases)

7 install win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-4-2sr3.exe

8 install CCM4.0 INSTALL DISC.iso
   Use virtual machine like alcohol120 to open DISC.iso, copy all the files (include CCMSetup.exe, Cisco Callmanager.exe, CiscoCM.CD1, CiscoCM.CD2 and InstMsiw.exe) to a new folder, don’t copy autorun.exe and autorun.inf.
   Run CCMsetup in the folder to install CCM4.0

9 install ciscocm-ffu.4-1-3.exe for the upgrade


note
* in step 8, if you didn’t copy the autorun.exe and autorun.inf, it should not ask you for the installation CDs from the CD rom, and this is what we want. If it still ask for the CDs, u shut down the computer and unplug the cable from the CD rom, and start computer again, it will not ask for the CDs.
